Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern use of the H & R Goods online store and purchases made through it. By using the store or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and the policies linked below.

1. Store and eligibility

H & R Goods is an online retailer based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. You must be the age of majority in your place of residence, or have permission from a parent or legal guardian, to place an order.

2. Acceptable use

You may not use the store for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, infringing, or unauthorized purposes; introduce malicious code; interfere with store operation; attempt to bypass security controls; or misuse customer, product, or site information.

3. Product information

Product pages describe the available dimensions, materials, tile count, colour, and included components. Mahjong formats use different tile counts and accessories, so review the complete product page before ordering.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are displayed in United States dollars unless stated otherwise. The final checkout total may include shipping, taxes, and discounts. Available payment methods are shown at checkout. You are responsible for providing accurate payment and billing information and for being authorized to use the selected payment method.

5. Orders and availability

An order confirmation acknowledges receipt but does not guarantee acceptance, inventory, or shipment. An order may be limited, refused, or cancelled because of unavailable inventory, destination restrictions, payment problems, suspected fraud, pricing or listing errors, or a violation of these Terms. If a paid order is cancelled, an appropriate refund is submitted to the original payment method.

6. Fulfillment and delivery

Shipping is currently available to eligible United States addresses. Items may arrive in separate packages. Processing, tracking, and delivery are governed by the Shipping & Delivery Policy. Delivery dates are estimates when provided. You are responsible for entering a complete and accurate delivery address.

7. Cancellations, returns, and refunds

Order changes and cancellations are governed by Cancellation & Order Changes. Returns and exchanges are governed by Returns & Exchanges. Refunds and replacements are governed by the Refund & Replacement Policy.

8. Promotions

A promotion may have eligibility rules, exclusions, minimums, dates, and usage limits. Unless expressly stated otherwise, discount codes cannot be combined, applied retroactively, transferred for cash, or used after expiration. A promotion may be corrected or withdrawn in cases of error, abuse, or legal necessity.

9. Intellectual property

The store’s original branding, text, layout, graphics, and other protected content are owned by or licensed to H & R Goods. You may use the store for personal shopping. Protected content may not be reproduced or commercially exploited without written permission.

10. Third-party services

The store uses services for ecommerce, payment processing, fulfillment, delivery, analytics, advertising, and customer support. Those services may be subject to separate terms and privacy practices.

11. Submitted content

Any review, image, message, or comment you submit must be truthful, lawful, relevant, and based on your experience. You grant H & R Goods a non-exclusive licence to use submitted content in connection with the store. Deceptive, abusive, unlawful, infringing, or irrelevant content may be removed.

12. Disclaimer and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the website is provided on an “as available” basis. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss to the maximum extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms excludes non-waivable warranties, remedies, or consumer rights.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and applicable federal laws of Canada, without limiting mandatory consumer protections that apply in your location.

14. Changes

These Terms may be updated by posting a revised version with a new effective date. Changes apply prospectively unless applicable law requires otherwise.
